Designed as a contemporary multi-generational residence for two brothers and their extended families, the house is conceived around the idea of bringing a large family together while still providing privacy and individual living spaces. Since the family frequently hosts children, grandchildren and extended family gatherings, the upper-ground floor is planned around a generously sized drawing and dining space, with the dining area rising into a double-height volume that becomes the social heart of the house. This creates a sense of openness and allows the family to sit, interact and dine together comfortably during gatherings. The same level accommodates the kitchen and supporting spaces, while the first floor houses three bedrooms, providing comfortable private spaces for the family.

At the stilt level, parking is provided along with a rental room, allowing the lower level to remain functional without compromising the primary residential spaces above. The stilt also creates a visually lighter base to the house and allows the main living levels to have greater privacy from the street.

The façade reflects the character of a warm, contemporary family home, combining clean geometric masses with natural materials and abundant greenery. The restrained light-coloured façade is layered with wood-textured cladding, projecting balconies, planter boxes and cascading vegetation, giving the elevation depth and softness. Large glazed openings bring natural light into the interiors, while the balconies and deep projections provide shade and outdoor spill-out spaces. The patterned screen at the first-floor level introduces a distinctive architectural element while adding privacy and filtered light. Vertical planting, hanging planters and rooftop greenery soften the otherwise crisp geometry and establish a strong connection with nature.

The overall composition balances privacy, openness and greenery, with the double-height dining space acting as the architectural centre of the home. The result is a contemporary residence that is both visually refined from the street and highly responsive to the needs of a large, multi-generational family—providing generous shared spaces for togetherness while maintaining comfortable private zones for each generation.
